A new registry
key has to be set to acknowledge that the administrator configured the services
to run on the application server.
I have created
new registry key as "AcknowledgedRunningOnAppServer" in the following
locations to acknowledge the services with appropriate values
1.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\version\LauncherSettings
2.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\version\LoadBalancerSettings
The Data type of this KEY should be DWORD and the value for the KEY should be 1
Now Configuration wizard step 5 will not get failed if the problem dues to this services.
